Faith Forest

Faith Forest is our Sunday School program for children in 1st through 5th grade.  The Faith Forest program runs on a rotation of different learning environments to keep the children interested in learning about Christ.  Faith Forest takes place during the Sunday morning worship service after the "children's time" with the Pastor.  We hope you encourage your children to attend this meaningful and fulfilling program.

Youth Groups 

The youth are very active at Southminster Presbyterian Church.  We have three youth groups that meet regularly for Christian Education and fellowship.

Friends in Christ:  This group consists of Kindergarten through 5th graders.  Upcoming events for Friends in Christ are:

February 19th - Cosmic bowling

March 19th - Henry Ford Museum

April 9th - 1:00 Easter Egg hunt

April 20th - Swimming at Romulus Rec Center

May 20th - Hollywood Squares

July - Detroit puppet theatre

August 1st - 5th - Vacation Bible School.  Check back for details.

Lamplighters:  This is our middle school age group (6th through 8th grade).  Upcoming events for the Lamplighters are:

Disciples! Disciples!

Disciples! Disciples! is our high school age youth group.  As well as participating in monthly youth group activities this group also plans an Annual Mission Trip.  Recent trips have been to New York City and to Tennessee.  The youth and their leaders keep in touch on Facebook through their Disciples! Disciples! page.
